Studying abroad is an experience that helps you like yourself more.
We are a small study-abroad agency from Japan. Our name, Yorozu (万), means "ten thousand" — countless. What we hand our students is not a package, but a ticket to ten thousand possibilities.
OUR CREDO
Our Credo
Our first responsibility is to the students who find the courage to leave home. What we hand them is not a study-abroad package, but a ticket to ten thousand possibilities. So if a ticket does not fit you, we will not sell it to you. Even from the other side of the planet, you will never face trouble — or loneliness — alone. And "welcome home" is not where we stop: we help you open the possibilities you carried back.
Our second responsibility is to the families who send their loved ones abroad. We know that worry is another name for love. The first price we show you is the final price. What we know is what your family knows. Helping you sleep soundly at night is part of our job, too.
Our third responsibility is to the partner schools, and the people around the world, who welcome our students. Before we entrust anyone with a student, we go and see them with our own eyes. We recommend a school for one reason only: because it fits the student. And we share responsibility only with partners who are honest — with our students, and with us.
Our fourth responsibility is to the people we work with. We regard each colleague as a close friend — as family — before an employee. Only people who care for themselves and for each other can truly care for a student. So the only service we deliver is the kind we would deliver to our own family and friends. And when a colleague says, out of honesty, "I won't sell this," we count it as pride — not as lost revenue.
Our final responsibility is to society. One departure becomes, on its return, someone else's courage. The experiences our students bring home chip away, little by little, at prejudice and fixed ideas. However small each step, it surely makes the world a more joyful, more valuable place. That is why we keep sending them — one person at a time.
When we fulfill every one of these responsibilities, each ticket we hand over opens, as promised, into ten thousand possibilities — and studying abroad becomes an experience that helps everyone it touches like themselves a little more. Of this, we are certain.
For Partner Schools
We are small on purpose.
We do not list hundreds of schools. We work only with partners we have visited and trust — and we have said no to many. If we work with you, it is because we believe we can share responsibility for a student's daily life.
Our students arrive prepared.
Every student completes our 12-lesson pre-departure English course, built in the order they will actually need it: immigration, first night with a host family, daily life, school life.
We show up in person.
The first time we send students to a school, our staff comes with them — always. For larger groups and younger students, we accompany them as well. And behind every student is our team in Japan, in daily contact with the student and their family.
